Re: Motec c127 CANbus data to the elite?

I know you have limited recourses. But it is my job to keep asking for things to add :D With out us you wouldn’t know what we want :P I guess there aren’t to many that spend more cash on the dash than on the ecu. But I did. And I could not be happier. As said I love haltech. But the motec dashes rea...

Re: MAP/EMAP VE tune with ITB's

It will never work correctly. Use TPS/MAP to get a better result. It is the throttle opening that affects VE. MAP is a side effect of that. is the MAP using as baro sensor? or is it better to create a small common plenum with vacuum hoses from each runner post throttle and use that with MAP correct...

Re: Motec c127 CANbus data to the elite?

I would say it is for Haltech’s favor to be able to support more products. The racepak dash is nothing to compare to the motec c127. Motec has probably the best logging in the world. And the dash also have a lot of inputs that can be broadcast over canbus. Haltech lacks behind in canbus. So it’s sad...

Re: Reving past the limiter

It is not a lean amount of fuel, it is the right amount of fuel over the last cycle of the engine. Does it not cut all cylinders at the specified value? If all injectors are cut at 8000rpm. How can it get fuel to go to 8200? What is driving the engine? I still don’t really understand this? It’s not...

Re: Not enough inputs for cruise control

This sounds sketchy.
Get that expander and have it setup correctly?

Motec c127 CANbus data to the elite?

Can you make it possible for the elite to read the canbus data from the c127?

The dash has many inputs that would be nice to use and have it send to the ecu.

When using the dash with the motec series ecu this is done as standard. Can you make it happen also?

Re: Potentiometer input for flat shift

So this can be done with brake pressure sensors also? For example the throttle blip setup you made?

Then you could have it only to blip on high brake pressures. That would be nice.

Which one is which? :D
What will the benefit be to use the different value instead of having both at 2v?

Re: M3 e46 ABS canbus

I must say I’m impressed that people even use ford for performance? But who I’m I to judge lol. Haltech and ford who could ever guessed that. If you said you where working on supporting the Nissan r35 I would understand it better. How did even ford make it to Australia? Hahah Take this with a grain ...

Re: M3 e46 ABS canbus

I know more people have requested the canbus support from the teves mk60 and unit from m3. It’s a really popular unit to retrofit in cars because it’s a stand alone system. Can you please add the canbus protocols for it? It sends brake pressure front and back And all 4 wheel speeds. Also abs error. ...

Potentiometer input for flat shift

Can I use a potentiometer on the clutch pedal to get an analog input of 0-5v to calibrate a “0-100%” travel range of the pedal and then set the desired voltage when to trigger the flat shift? As today I have had a simple switch. It won’t let me set where in the travel I want the cut. Could this be d...

Re: MAP/EMAP VE tune with ITB's

What I’ve learned ITB runs best with the fuelmap against TPS.

On my m3 engine I first tried it with map. It did work but the result was poor and when I change the tune to tps load it was like a day and night change in how the engine responded.

Hope this helps.

My values are in celsius. So what you are saying is the exact same :)

Re: Nissan 350z speed sensors

I decided to go with the pull to ground instead. With the same 220 ohm resistor I got a low value about 1.6v and a high about 3v. I guess this is good enough right? In the custom setup for the sensor. What would the optimal treshhold and activation voltage be for this condition? I put them both at 2...
