Re: HOW TO LOAD MY BASEMAP OF PS1000 IN ELITE1000

I believe it's like this. It's been 5 years since I did mine. Bring up ESP and load the default tune file. Then Import your Sport tune file.

Re: !jz conversion in 4x4 hilux have spark but no inj

Injectors require a 12v source from the battery. Pin 26 is a flyback connection and will not power the injectors.

Thermofan function - when a source other than the engine coolant temperature is selected, it would be convenient that the duty cycle table axis would default to that source instead of sticking to the engine coolant temperature. Reduces the head scratching as to why it isn't working as intended.

Re: Elite 950 GM 4 wire IAC help

Under features, be sure stepper is selected for Idle Control. Wiring should show the 4 wires.
Take a look at the wiring diagram, it shows the 4 wires for stepper idle valve.

Re: IAC not idling up

Some basics that may help you set it up. BAC - Bypass Air Control Stepper motor idle air valves are different animals and use the dedicated stepper terminals on the Elite. BAC valves do not use the dedicated terminals. Haltech design is to control by grounding the device control coil either constant...

Re: Base map wiring diagrams

You are asking for much more than Haltech is responsible for. Haltech will only take it to the interface between their scope of supply and your car. If you want the wire colors for your car, get them from the car's mfr documentation and trace out the circuits.

Re: Proportional and Integral?

Have you logged a WOT pull to see how much correction the ECU is doing when the A/F is off target? Maybe the correction is hitting the max correction and the fuel tune map needs fixing.

Re: Proportional and Integral?

You say " ( matches Baro at idle ), " Baro should match with key on, engine off, not while engine is idling.

Waiting for it too. Lately there hasn't been much response to this board from Haltech, so I doubt they have their ears on.

Re: Elite wire harness relay temp

Normal amp draw in the control coil is approx. 0.16 amps for a Bosch relay, For 12V relay that means less than 1watt power draw. Seems like some checking is order if they relays run hot.

Re: 2J Cold idle iac range?

You are on the right track. You may want to open the throttle min setting some more, Usually during hot idle the IAC is almost closed.

What % open is the idle valve when you have to hold accelerator to maintain idle rpm?

Re: Barometric correction doubts

Try this - Set your units to absolute kPa. Do your test again and record the volts at the kPa values. Go to the calibration sheet and enter the values. Re set your units to what you like to use. The calibration will use your new units. I am not going to attempt to convert the values of the first tes...

Re: AE86 with 20v starts, immediate stall.

Whether the timing is correct or not, it's not the cause of the stalling. Check it anyway, doesn't hurt.
Run a log as is and examine where in the main fuel map it's running when it stalls and apply fuel there. It appears it runs until the post start fuel ends and then the stall occurs.

Re: AE86 with 20v starts, immediate stall.

Add fuel in 20% chuncks, then after it gets warmed up, tune.
