Re: Elite 750 - Lexus is300 - No start

Just a thought, pin 26 does is not the supply +12v for the injectors. It is a flyback feed FROM the injectors TO the Elite. +12 v from battery thru a relay is the supply. This can be confusing sometimes if preparing your own harness. The relay is ignition switch controlled so power to the injectors ...

Re: Issue with ignition load: Air mass/ Cyl

Just another data point. Not entirely the same setup as you, as I have both fuel and ignition set to gm/cyl and all is well.

I use the pullup just like would be done for any other extra resistance type sensor. Search here for the Haltech response to the question.

Re: Base map bigger injectors

With ESP, the Prime, Cranking tables are in percent. Is the percent ratioed by the same rule? With the Platinum ECU Manager the tables were in time, ms. I never have known with ESP what the percent is of which parameter? I remember having to set much larger values in ESP than with the Platinum when ...

Re: F10X IACV setup

Connections vary depending on which valve you have. You might look at the Megasquirt site, they have a good explanation on the operation and the various types. It's how the internal driving coils are terminated out to the connector.

You will get a message that it can't be done with the engine running.

Re: Setting TDC

I am not familiar with this engine and what the pointer means. Is it really TDC?

Turn off the "quick start" feature temporarily while synchronizing the ecu to the engine and the waste spark issue is not messing with you.

Re: DBW Cruise Control

The PID parameters refer to tuning a control loop, not the physics of motion. Look at the webinar links I posted, it should clear things up.

Re: Low PW Compensation

The fuel pressure given by ID is the differential pressure across the injector, not the absolute fuel pressure given ESP. Because the table in ESP does not have a second axis available, I used a row of voltage values where I most often operate. I interpolated for a set of values to a diffewrential p...

Re: Low PW Compensation

I see the latest firmware/software now has "effective pulse width" parameter, so the data from ID should be able to be used. The fuel pressures in the id data though are the differential pressure across the injector.

Re: DBW Cruise Control

Here is another one with a more practical example. It is lengthy. It shouldn't matter that it's produced by a competitor because the concept is what you are after. I don't know enough about PID control to say which part to change. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16Clfh5eBzg There is a follow up vide...
