Re: Datalog Channel Definition List

Be connected to the Elite.
At the bottom is a tab Data Manager. Look at the options. You can either log only selected functions or log everything that is shown on the screens. It will log the functions on all the screens you have.

GaugeArt Gauge Features display

Bought a GaugeArt gauge and set screens, of which one was to show the short term fuel trim AFR and one for the long term fuel trim AFR. The display doesn't work for any negative values. If fuel is being pulled out, it should display the minus %, but it goes bonkers. It looks like FFFFh minus the cor...

I've used 3 by Mager bought off ebay. Look for DC-DC at the amp rating you need. 40 amp ought to cover most. I use it for fan control

Re: LS1 Coil triggering

I have ignitor side tied to sensor ground. Mathew lately says to tie it to the block along with the coil power ground. No issues with mine (so far). Drove 1000 miles in the last 2 days.

Re: Elite 550 wiring

I assume you are triggering the Elite by some means. If so, then you do not need to connect to the coil for ignition.

Re: BMW E30 325i

Hello Haltech, Haltech elite 750 to manage it. Don't think the 750 has enough capability to do what your project needs. Have you examined the selection guide on the Haltech website? You will need 6 injector and 6 ignition outputs for sequential, 2 for the OEM idle valve, OEM factory tach will input...

Re: Flying lead universal trim module

I think you can determine the leads with a multitester set to resistance. It works well on TPS sensors, but with 4 wires, it becomes messier. 1. Pick two leads, connect to tester. Turn knob. If resistance changed, keep one lead and pick another until you find 2 that the resistance remains constant b...

Re: MAP Selection required with MAF??

Thank you for looking into the condition. I am operating, so, I am not anxious for any fixes.

I will look at your suggested fuel map configuration. You may have noticed that the ignition is already mapped over g/cyl as rpm and charge density seemed to be the main factors affecting ignition advance.

It will be a day or so before I can do a log. I want to confirm that you mean by the above "Engine Limiting Function" and Engine Limiting Method".

MAP Selection required with MAF??

Elite 2500 in service since 03/2013 and have been using MAF for load for several years. I converted from speed density at that time and had no use for the MAP sensor but left it installed. In August last year I was loosing fuel pressure from a partially blocked in tank fuel pickup so I added a fuel ...
