Re: MAP Selection required with MAF??

Thank you for looking into the condition. I am operating, so, I am not anxious for any fixes.

I will look at your suggested fuel map configuration. You may have noticed that the ignition is already mapped over g/cyl as rpm and charge density seemed to be the main factors affecting ignition advance.

It will be a day or so before I can do a log. I want to confirm that you mean by the above "Engine Limiting Function" and Engine Limiting Method".

MAP Selection required with MAF??

Elite 2500 in service since 03/2013 and have been using MAF for load for several years. I converted from speed density at that time and had no use for the MAP sensor but left it installed. In August last year I was loosing fuel pressure from a partially blocked in tank fuel pickup so I added a fuel ...

Re: Iac motor jeep tj 4.0

Suggest you go here and read the section. http://www.megamanual.com/ms2/IAC.htm Below the circuit board pic is a box titled IAC Wiring diagrams. The Jeep is the top diagram. Terminal letters would be (from my notes) from right to left on the diagram, A,B,C.D. A coil Hi is C terminal, A low is B, B H...

Re: wont let me edit connection in functions

I/O report from the functions menu to see what ports are available. Pick one and wire the wideband to that terminal in the harness.

Re: Elite 1000 Tach Output

I had my tach converted also after the tach adapter fried the old tach board. The tach adapter had black filler oozing out when the tach quit. The adapter was a MSD unit.

Re: How do I control my idle?? I am so lost. Modded 2005 S2000

Plug the air off to the Idle valve and start the car. Adjust the warm idle to about what you want. Adjust fuel so it doesn't surge. Set the idle valve settings so it closes. Then open the air to the idle valve and work on getting the idle valve to control the idle speed.

That leads to a bunch of questions. The older serial no may have been a bad returned unit dropped in the box.

I have no more suggestions. Looks like you'll need to contact Haltech unless a Matt has something.

Re: Problem on first power up..

Depending on your comfort level, if it was my set up I would disconnect both the harness connectors and connect battery ground to pin A10 or A11 and 12V to pin B11. Refer to your Haltech wiring diagram for pin locations to be sure. Alternately, those pins could be pulled from the connectors temporar...
