Re: ECU Manager stopped working

Make sure you are running as Administrator. Win 10 does change security settings with updates more often than I care to think about.

Re: ATS

ATS only has two pins and they are not polarity dependent.

One goes to the ECU, the other goes to Signal Ground.

You must have the pullup enabled. You also must have the correct calibration to match your sensor, but you can customise this in the ATS setup area of the Main Setup.

Call when you are with the vehicle and have internet on the laptop. Way quicker than hoping for a forum answer.

Re: Signal Ground resistance 27 ohms

Exactly. There should be no continuity between them with the ECU unplugged.

Same settings as it says. It may be listed as Standard Full Cycle in the list. Enable the pullup.

Re: no ignition spark on zylinder 2/3

I believe we diagnosed this as the crank and cam sensor wires being flipped.

Re: 2jz vvti non vvti crank trigger

You cant run that combination without swapping the crank trigger wheel. 12x on crank and 3x on cam is not a valid combination for a 2JZ.

36-2 on crank with 3x on cam to support VVT, or 12x on crank and 1x on cam to support the engine without VVT.

Re: coil earths and rotational idle

Never wire coil earths to the ECU. They go the cylinder head as the return path for the spark energy.

The Street Logger does not have GPS or G-sensor. The older model IQ3 Logger had this.

Re: Batch Mode

It will need a ballast resistor to fire multiple low impedance injectors. High impedance the 550 will fire up to 4 per driver.

Pick 3RZ as the pattern. Reluctor Falling. TDC Offset is around 453 from all accounts.

Check your wiring to be sure that signal ground and power ground do not have continuity with the ECU unplugged.

Re: Z33 no spark

Nice to see the problem is nothing at all to do with the ECU but it's still Haltech's fault. From the first reply, the Current Engine Limiter is a channel in the ECU telling you if it is turning off the fuel or ignition for any particular reason for anyone else who stumbles onto this. Next time if y...
