It could be anything. Check if the throttle is calibrated and reads 0% at idle. If it doesnt the idle control will not work and wont idle up when cold.

The battery is always the best place to run the wires as it acts like a large filter.

Your Sprint ECU does not support stepper motor, the Sport and high Elite models do.

You would have to use a 2-pin idle motor like the Bosch unit.

Yes, wire the solenoid to the Haltech instead of the current controller.

That just says the throttle is disabled. You need to supply much more information than this to be able to help. Nobody though is going to be able to diagnose a DBW fault over a forum. Call Support.

The ignition is up to you. Generally you can switch over to 8x coils if you like, or you can keep it distributor if you prefer.

Ne = Trigger +
G1 = Home +
G- = Signal Ground

They are reluctor with falling edge. Enable the ground reference.

You can use any air temp sensor so long as you know the cal. If not, buy a Haltech one so you do have the cal.
