Re: Help understanding water/methanol injection with VE tuning

You are adding fuel (methanol), so it most likely will need to pull fuel back. Set up 4D tuning and 4D learning and map it over water injection being active or not. It will then learn the differences for you too. You may not see an intake air temp change at the ECU. It depends on whether your spray ...

Re: Elite 1500 ecu in 2018 hayabusa

Much like poking yourself in the eye, yeah you can do it but you shouldn't. Because the injectors are in the ports you need to time them to fire with each engine cycle so a solid state and generic duty is not the way to do it. You could semi sequential both stages and it will run the engine, but it ...

It takes as long is it takes for the sensor to warm up. Around 15 to 30 seconds.

Re: Elite 1500 ecu in 2018 hayabusa

You cant do it on a 1500, it needs a 2500 to run the 8x injectors. Don't know anyone with a 2018 model, but there are plenty of both Gen 1 and 2 Busas out there with our ECU on them, but they are all heavily modified and don't have any of the OEM dash or control system to run. The engine itself is e...

Most of the plug in kits have a guide to show how to configure the adapter for models with and without the security system. It should just be jumpers inside the adapter box.

Re: Elite sr20 trigger settings

The K11 Micra is an exception, it is not a normal "Nissan Optical" pattern. They use a Falling edge, and a TDC Offset around 550.

Re: Motec c127 CANbus data to the elite?

You know this is coming... As mentioned many times before, there are limited resources when it comes to spending time on adding CAN support for something. Spending expensive engineers time adding support for a product that has nothing to do with our company (i.e. we don't make anything out of it) fo...

New street models are easy. Older models not so much, so what he has done makes it easy.

Re: Haltech wideband controller modules

Data and closed loop control is available as soon as the controller tells the ECU that the sensor is in a usable state. No real procedure to follow.

That is what I would do. Common small plenum for the MAP, but the main input is still TPS.

There is only one angle that is correct and it will only ever move if the trigger system is moving.
