Why not let the Haltech control all of that?

Without knowing anything about your setup, no one will be able to provide much help.

Re: injectors upgrade

Yes, that should get it close. You will also need to adjust the Injector dead times as well.

Re: Aftermarket CAN wideband use?

The Haltech uses proprietary CAN messaging, so you are limited to using only Haltech CAN devices for inputs to the ECU.

Maybe open CAN messaging will be an option some day in the future? I know I'd love to see it...

Where is it located in ESP? I have 2.27 FW installed and 2.00.35 ESP, can't locate it.

Main Setup under the Fuel tab. I believe it's called "Short Pulse Width Adder" or something like that.

Re: Bosch Combined Temp and Pressure sensor

If they are anything like the Bosch TMap, then it is wired as two sensors, but with a common ground. So yes, it should have no problem reading them.

Re: Idle Control with spark corrections

Ignition Only idle control was added in firmware 2.27. You would just need to upgrade FW to use it.

Re: LS3 in boat

You can run one if you choose, but it is not needed. One of the reasons most people go with aftermarket EFI systems is to get rid of the MAF.

Re: Elite 1500, CAN bus for Aim Evo4 logger

I have done this exact setup. You need a CAN hub and put the Elite, WB, and Evo4S all on the same Haltech CAN bus. The vehicle-specific bus is for interfacing into those specific vehicles for driving factory instrument panels and controls.

Re: elite 2500 wiring

Trim modules can go on SPI's, I've done this on cars that did not have any spare AVI's available. The 010504 module is a 12 position knob. I've never used the older style, and can't find any documentation on it besides a basic wiring diagram. I'm not sure if it has set positions or is just a variab...

Re: Wiring in my 1500. Relay and fuse questions.

Yes to all questions on Relay 1

As far as ignition input goes, IMO, all power connections should be fused, even if the diagram from Haltech doesn't show one. The Ignition Switch input doesn't draw much current, so a 5amp fuse should be plenty.

Where is the CAN system getting it's power? Are you plugged into the port on the ECU, or did you add your own wiring?

Re: Wideband Controller blinks while off

It shouldn't blink at all with the ECU off. How do you have it wired? If you're using the CAN connections, you only need the power and ground connections on the main connector at positions 1/13 and 12/24.

Re: 2500T Torque Management Options

I've been asking for this for 2 years now. If nothing else, they just need to allow the "drivetrain sensor" input under VSS to be the driveshaft sensor and calibrate it from there. Not that we really need gear detection on the drag cars I've wired/tuned, but it would be nice to see MPH ins...
