Re: I am lost... can anyone log into my ecu and help me

Take it to a mechanic and search for mechanical issues and if none found then take it to a tuner. It's really hard to diagnose through internet. The purpose of a base map is to get the car going straight to the tuner and definitely not use it under demanding and hard conditions that we are met at a tr...

Re: Misfiring engine using PS2000.

Although i can not see much info of your build my set-up for example is a 36-1 wheel with a ford VR sensor with a gap of 0.75mm it works ok however i did check the trigger-voltage threshold in order to see according to engine rpm what the ecu receives. If you find differences you can fine tune the va...

Re: occasional injection fail

For some reason your sprint doesn't like that bosch injectors your are using even tho they are high impedance. At my set-up i am using 4 high impedance (14ohm) 260cc ca18de injectors (the engine is an E15ET) at batch fire configuration BUT i have wired them at output 1 injector cylinder 1 output 2 in...

Re: Platinum Sport 1000 36-1 Crank Wheel Setup

Set trigger type motronic 36-1 and if you are using 032 905 106B vag coil most likely it will be at falling edge spark output since it's an igbt coil.Dwell 2.5-3.0 ms .You are not using any camshaft sensor so with the above trigger setting the ecu will automatically understand that you have a 36-1 w...

Re: Elite 1500 onboard MAP sensor

It all depends if you prefer 3 wires or a hose coming through your firewall.Personally i would prefer the oem sensor since it exists and works as it should.

You can use a noid light to see if your injector output or harness has an issue.

Re: Dead time ID1000

Most people should use the provided dead times in the base map when they have no data about their injectors dead times. You have.Use ID's.

Re: Filtering of MAP sensor input.

On a previous car I had these same throttle bodies and a good vacuum signal without any issues, and that was a smaller engine with a much more aggressive camshaft. I hope the bugger does not have a crook valve or something like that. Having said that in order to save time before you dig deeper tuni...

Re: Filtering of MAP sensor input.

You can insert a restrictor in the vacuum line but it will make your map response slower. Can you go Alpha-N?

Re: Placement of MAF on forced induction engine

Furthermore place it at the middle of the straight section of the pipe as placing it near bends can confuse it giving false readings.maf needs undisturbed air flow to work properly. How far from a bend would you reckon would be required to get back to nice smooth flow? Just looking at some setup op...
