Re: Elite 550 Toyota 4AGE 16V No Spark

You need to wire the IGT for each coil that is what triggers your coils. IGF is the wire you wont use. Resuming 12V+ wire, IGT wire and ground.

Re: Flat shift and synchro trans

I have the flat shift enabled, It works like charm in my turbo civic. I had the same problem that you have loosing boost and the lag was serious with the gt35 and non vtec head. Now I only lose like 3-4 psi per gear change and the response of the turbo is much better, it also helps the synchronizati...

Closed Loop Boost Control

Hi guys, looking for some reassurance here. My doubt is when using closed loop do I have to set the closed loop base duty for the maximum boost level I want to run or doesn't matter? Example I want to run 12 psi 1st and 2nd gear 19 psi 3rd gear and 24 psi 4th and 5th. So do I set the base duty so th...

VW GTI 1.8T

Has anyone installed a sprint 500 piggybacked with stock ecu in a mk4 gti 1.8T? The stock Ecu will control the DBW and the Haltech will take care of the injectors, ignition etc. Crank trigger VR sensor 60-2 pattern, home cam sensor hall effect with 4 tabs.

Injectors Wiring

This is more of a general question, I am interested in how the ecu knows when exactly to fire the injectors is it by the firing order? Example Honda B engine firing order 1-4 2-3 How should it be wired for the different types of injections. Sequential, batch etc etc Sequential Injector output #1 cyl...

Re: Tach Output

Everything went as planned he has his tach working again, but I found something in the base fuel table the injection time for 5 psi was 10.2ms and at 10psi it was 10.4ms So either one load is lean or the other is rich I ask him about it and told me AFR where consistent in the 10.9 area. I dont know ...

Yes, already confirmed tacho receives the signal from the stock ecu. Thanks! :)

Tach Output

Hey guys I am helping a friend with his tacho that isn't working. He has a 97 miata 1.8 engine running COP with 1zz coils. He is running a haltech sprint 500 and I was wondering if I can connect the ecu tacho output to the tach signal directly? Or do I need a tach adapter for the signal one like the...

Open loop Boost control

Hi guys I have a haltech sprint 500 and I am trying to setup open loop boost control, I have a doubt, lets say I want 19 psi and the spring I have right now is 12 psi, the table is a generic duty pwm signal, it looks (% duty vs Pressure) in my case (psi) I go to the table and lets say it haves at 0 ...

Re: Transient throttle

Ok.If you go at transient throttle-enrich and press "table axis setup" you have maximum 4 cells at RPM and 4 cells at transient load source % to play with. You can't add more than 4 cells but you can change the values at that cells to suit your needs somehow better. Thanks man I will play ...

Transient throttle

I have a doubt about this feature, yesterday was checking my logs and saw that the AFR got a lean between gear changes. It was 13.02 AFR at 2.87psi ,4949rpm. In the software the transient throttle table consist of 1000,2000,3000,4000rpm respectively. So lets say for example If am in 2nd gear at 8500...
