Re: Flex Fuel Sampling Threshold

Wouldn't the sensor pose a restriction on the feed side? It's only like -6 Isn't it. I suppose on lower power setup it'd be ok. Yes, i've had to move mine. I had my sensor pre-regulator stepping down from -8 to -6 for the sensor, and it created pressure problems. So i moved it into the return line,...

Flex Fuel Sampling Threshold

The Sampling Threshold parameters for the e85 sensor. Will the Elite hold the composition above these thresholds? Assuming the only time composition should change would be during refueling when the engine is at low RPM, or off. So the sampling thresholds can be set just above idle, and it will hold ...

Re: GM DRAC for VSS

I found my ground loop. The sensor ground circuit is grounding to chassis through the WB1 wideband box. The WB1 is connected to +12V and chassis ground. Well, the CAN cable is bringing the chassis ground from the WB1 and up into the B15 ecu terminal. I don't know if its enough to affect the pulsed s...

Re: GM DRAC for VSS

i just read the thread about the Sensor Ground wire labeled battery. This Elite Premium harness is from 2016, and i'll bet my lunch that the sensor ground is tied to chassis. To test it, I filled the tank with E85 for the first time, And the flex sensor (another SPI) didn't have any readings at all....

GM DRAC for VSS

I am trying to wire a couple VSS signals into an Elite 2500. The first signal is coming from a GM DRAC module. The DRAC takes incoming driveline VSS AC signal waves, and uses switches to generate a DC square wave output (pulsed to ground). The DRAC is factory on the vehicle, and the outputs feed the...

GaugeArt Designer

For the GaugeArt online Gauge Designer, there is a .RRD "pointer file" specific for the Elite. Is there software that i can use to modify this RRD file. I would like to add more inputs to the Gauge Designer. The RRD file that GaugeArt uses has the basic ECU outputs, but i am looking for mo...

1991 GMC Syclone - Elite 2500

I have converted my vehicle from a FAST ECU to a Haltech Elite 2500. My fun car is a 1991 GMC Syclone truck. I purchased the truck stock in 2006, and I have upgraded everything on the truck myself. I was running a FAST ECU from the late 90s with a universal harness. The Fast ECU was very basic, and ...

Re: 750 vs. 2500 ESP capabilities (first post)

Thank you for responding. That narrows my choices down to the 2500. I downloaded the ESP software, and started playing with it. Another beginner question: I have heard that you can create custom tables & amps in ESP. But i could not figure out how to create a new custom table. Do i need to calib...

750 vs. 2500 ESP capabilities (first post)

I would like to update my standalone ECU, so I am researching the capabilities of a Haltech Elite. My car could run on the 750 with a few I/O to spare. However, i am wondering what the differences in the ESP software are between a 750, and a 2500. I would like to use spare I/O for open-loop boost co...
