Re: Help understanding water/methanol injection with VE tuning

That part is all up to you. But to do this correctly the ECU needs to know when supplementary fuel is being delivered to maintain correct tuning. More a question for AEM. Got it. i'll come up with something or talk with AEM. on the other hand, in order to use the "boost safe" output of th...

Re: Help understanding water/methanol injection with VE tuning

You got it! one question though; when you say to map it over the W/M being active or not, you mean that by using a signal from the W/M controller or pump to the ecu? what is the best way to let the ECU know its active? i think the AEM controller only has an output for when there is a failure or low...

Re: Help understanding water/methanol injection with VE tuning

You are adding fuel (methanol), so it most likely will need to pull fuel back. Set up 4D tuning and 4D learning and map it over water injection being active or not. It will then learn the differences for you too. You may not see an intake air temp change at the ECU. It depends on whether your spray...

Re: Oil pressure sensor calibration issues (Defi)

That seems to have done the trick, thanks!. reading 2-3 psi on ignition-on but i assume that is normal.

Oil pressure sensor calibration issues (Defi)

Hey guys, i am running a Defi oil pressure sensor with my elite 1500, i got the sensor hooked up and am seeing 142 PSI with the ECU/ignition on (no oil pressure). from what i have gathered online the sensor is .5v to 4.5v 10 bar(145psi) max. i entered this information in the calibration table and am...
