Re: Erratic Ignition Elite 2500

Can you zip the file, no unrar software here on our PCs.

it will also be much faster to tech support to call or email us directly. The forum is only checked when we are not swamped with the other gazillion methods of contacting us and it is more for other users to help.

Re: High Output IGBT Coil wiring

Put them all to one ground, on the head. It prevents your coils becoming your ground strap should this break or fail, and in reality it makes no difference to how it will work unless you have terrible grounding issues in your car.

Re: Elite 1000

It is only a colour gradient. Red does not mean bad. Lower numbers are richer. The base number or Volumetric Efficiency (VE). It is a percentage of air that entered the engine based on the engine displacement you entered. The ECU then injects the right amount of fuel based on the injector data you h...

Re: AEM smart coil

AEM rebadges the IGN1A coil as do everyone that sells this type including us. Constant Charge, Falling edge. Dwell time varies depending on what you are using it for. Normally I would run around 4.5ms or so, but you can ramp this up to easily double that for short periods. Sometimes this is mapped a...

Re: Fuel Level conditioner and CAN output

1. It is meant to do this and that is the entire reason for the signal conditioner. It is to prevent fuel swirling while driving causing the level to jump around all over the place. Unless you are emptying your tank over 120 seconds. The voltage range is what it is. 2. Yes you may need to talk to th...

Re: Stall Saver output

Yes it is on with the engine not running. This is a legacy function only present due to it being in our ancient ECU models because one guy once thought it was a good idea. Running it on the testing shows it has a firmware set 300rpm hysteresis so if you set to to 100rpm the output will stay on until...

Re: I need some help

Wrong section, should have gone in the Platinum Sport section.

Your coils and/or ignitor are where I would be looking but are you talking about plug leads or the wiring to the coil from the ECU?

It will be using the fuel correction data from that table, the Air Temp Correction. It sounds like it needs more tuning.

Re: Speed sensor

No. It needs to meet the spec.

Most ABS use different types of sensors designed specifically for the ring they use. These sensors cannot be read by a Sport ECU. You may be better using your GT101 and pointing it at the back of a wheel stud.

Re: injector duty cycle

Just an FYI: Injection 1 Duty Cycle only works when you are using this output for something other than running an injector. Like if you connected a boost solenoid to this output. Injector Output 1 Duty Cycle will show the fuel injector duty cycle for output 1 which is what you were looking for. Inje...

Why not use a generic.

Starter Input On AND RPM less than 400 AND Brake or Clutch Input On = Start the engine.

Re: elite 2500 and haltech can wideband controller

You can read many channels of wideband as you like in the system but we will not be adding cylinder-level short or long term control. Engineering time costs mega-dollars and I can count the number of people who have asked for it on one finger :D

Re: Erratic Ignition Elite 2500

If you have the probe connected to the Trigger + wire then it looks normal but that is a Rising edge for the trigger. You most likely have the polarity of that sensor backwards. This is shown by the missing tooth gap as a Falling edge so the first tooth after is is Rising. The home is always Rising ...
