Re: Step in VE map due to injector staging?

Blake. Cheers. updated images. I linked them from google+ but it didn't like the link obviously. This is the pump map. Relevily flat. Had no issues with injector staging. (But as pump fuel needs less quantity Im assuming the staging only happened in boost zones. Anth pump fuel map.jpg I expected th...

Re: Step in VE map due to injector staging?

None of your pictures are loading. If you upload them directly to the post instead of linking them they should work. Your staging enrichment is set to only 1 or 0 engine cycles, so that's definitely not affecting it, although you could zero out the percentages to be 100% sure. Do you have any datalo...

Re: injector duty cycle

You need to log Injection Stage 1 Duty Cycle as Matt said.

What is your fuel type/injector size/pump etc and power level?

The Elite will drive most IACVs available. What IACV does the Hypertune use?

Re: Flying lead universal trim module

Because it's not on the ecu...it's a trim module, it has a unterminated harness with the previously mentioned colors..I need to know what wires are what...I have +5V orange wire, a AVI, and a signal ground terminated to the female side of the included Deutsche connector, I cannot terminate the othe...

Re: Flying lead universal trim module

Why not just trace the wires back to the ECU plugs? It’s only 4 wires, it would only take about 5 minutes at most.

Re: Toyota 1UZFE and an Elite 2000 (or other Haltech ecu), anyone?

Awesome! Thanks guys! Now, the next question is, which one should I be looking at buying? I've searched all over but can't seem to see a difference between the different models! Nothing in the sales page say anything about them. So, box A, B, C or D? I'm assuming it depends on the ecu I'm going wit...

Torque Reduction function for sequential trans?

Can someone explain this function to me? There is nothing in the help file that I could find... I will be fitting an Elite to a K20 powered open cockpit car that uses a Hewland 6 speed sequential gearbox. Currently the owner is using an air shift setup with another brand ECU, and has to lift to upsh...

Re: Toyota 1UZFE and an Elite 2000 (or other Haltech ecu), anyone?

It's a matter of preference. If they are going to tune it completely, you don't NEED an onboard wideband, but it's something I like to see on all the cars I work with. I look at it the same way I look at an oil pressure gauge. Sure, you could fit one only during break in and it could be right for th...

I would ditch the narrowband o2's and get a WBC2, but otherwise you should be fine with all stock sensors.

Re: Data log viewing

The only difference between "Save to File" and "Open with Datalog Viewer" is whether it opens the viewer or not. Both will ask to save the file. If you want to view the log right away, then "Open with Datalog Viewer". If you just want to save it to view it later, then j...

Re: Trouble assigning connection for DBW TPS

I don't remember the exact reasoning, but Matt posted in the recent past that AVI 1-8 are the only valid inputs for DBW. Something to do with the way the safeties are setup on DBW. I would just move the TPS inputs to the other AVIs and use 9 and 10 for things like air temp or coolant temp.

Re: 2500T wiring diagram for the triple rotary trim module

Without knowing what module you have, based on the colors, I would think red is power, black is ground, and the white wires are the three signals. Any available AVIs can read the trim modules.
