Re: DBW TPS reversal

You definitely need to use both DBW outputs, it is not meant for dual DBW control. I found an old post from Matt, it is Pin A26 that powers the DBW controls. Do you have the injector relay unplugged from the fuse box? Per the Haltech diagram, A26 gets it's power from the injection relay (R2). If you...

Re: DBW TPS reversal

I don't know enough to say what would happen when you connect the throttle motor in a way not specified by Haltech, but I wouldn't call it "working" if it's tracking in the wrong direction. Do you have power coming in to A26 and B11 on the ECU? I believe A26 or B11 is the DBW power source,...

Re: DBW TPS reversal

This is for the Holley system, but they include wiring diagrams for the Ford DBW TB and APP.

Re: DBW TPS reversal

For one, the pullups should be disabled, but I'm not convinced this is the only problem. Do you have a wiring diagram for this throttle body?

Re: DBW TPS reversal

If it's reading backwards, you should be able to simply swap the 5v sensor power and sensor ground wires on the throttle body and get it to read the other way. I know you said you already did that, but it should be that easy...

Re: DBW TPS reversal

Check your settings against the Coyote 5.0 base map. Do you have the pull ups enabled? Just to clarify, you are getting 0-100% linear input from the APP, correct? The throttle body is going wide open, yet showing 5% TPS? Does the throttle body respond at all to APP input? Did you run the calibration...

Using a single speed sensor for DSS and VSS

I've asked this before a long time ago, didn't know if there was an update to the status or not. Are there plans to be able to use the DSS input as a VSS input in the near future? Wiring up a car now that only has one speed sensor, would like to not have to use two inputs like I did before. The car ...

Re: Elite 2500 AVI1 pull-up?

The diagram does show that AVI1 and 6 should have selectable pull-ups, but I have never seen the option in ESP to enable them. It's either a misprint in the diagram or a bug in the software.

Re: Elite 2500 alternator charging warning (AVI2 to raise CEL/battery)

Why not just use actual battery voltage to trigger the CEL? You don't need to tie up an input just for a low battery light/CEL. The functionality is already built in using the Battery Voltage Diagnostics function, where you can either set CEL parameters, a dedicated battery light output, or both.

Re: DBW idle control, rpm dips below idle speed on transit to idle

Honestly, I'd go back over all of your idle set points. You've got 90-95% base output at operating temp, with a minimum output of 80%, but then the long term trim is at -114%. I would think there is no way that an LS3 throttle body should need to be open that much to get the engine to idle, and the ...

Re: DBW idle control, rpm dips below idle speed on transit to idle

Can you post your map so we can look at it? Sometimes it's a simple setting that is overlooked and it helps to have a second set of eyes go over it.

Re: Toyota ACIS wiring

Could you just feed the VSV with a switched ignition power, and then use any of the outputs to ground the VSV? Same way injectors and most other outputs work, switching the ground side instead of the power side.

Hard to tell without any information. Post your map or a screenshot of your settings at least... Wiring/hardware configuration?

Without any of that, we might as well be asking a magic 8 ball...
