No light green wire

Postby LVB » Tue May 01, 2007 11:11 am

I am wiring up a E6X on my 1988 TII rx7 stock coils and the diagram calls for a light green wire, the only odd ball in the ignition bundle is a light blue, is that the right one?

Sometimes the "light green" wire will more of an "aqua marine bluish" kinda thing and not exactly a light green. Other times, it wil lbe a light green wire.

But to be 100% sure if the wire is there or not, measure continuity from the main connector, pin #36, and the end of the wire, if your multimeter beeps, all is well, if not, open the connector up and see if the wire is there.

If its not, and your harness is brand new and uninstalled yet call the vendor who sold it to you and tell them it has this problem, they can either offer to replace it, or something else.

This sort of thing might be a manufacturing error so it should be warranted.
