e6x on 2jz ignition setup

Postby leafar » Sat May 05, 2007 3:46 am

ive installed an e6x on a 1994 supra twin turbo with a msd dis4 and running waste spark. ive checked the fourm for setting up ignition setup but the advise of someone that has done this before would be greatly appreciated. i am using an early version of the e6x with the dos software and would prefer to use it that way. the crank has 12 teeth and im using the rear cam sensor as home if i have to iwill use the rear. also when verifing timming do i divide by two(2) since the coil fires two cylinders at a time? thanks

By the way the above setup is using the rear cam sensor for home.
Also when checking timing depending on the timing light used, the ignition timing will be doubled like you stated before.
