Right now you will basically be getting something like this, but unspliced, you will have to do a little leg work on this. A generic Wiring Diagram will be provided so you know exactly what to do, and i will provide wiring diagrams on applications i can get them for. If you have an application for this and i dont have the diagram, please send it to me and i will tell you what to do.

Nissan OBD1 plug in patch harness will be available soon! This will fit this particular ECU versions:

I plan to develop more applications as soon as i have a supply for the main ECU connector and the main harness connectors. Future applications include VW/Audi/Skoda/Seat ODB2, Nissan OBD1 and OBD2, Toyota OBD2, Honda/Acura OBD2, Subaru OBD2. Please check back with me to find out what the status is on them. If you know where to get the connectors for these or any other applications, please let me know to find out if we can work something out.

Update!

New addition to the kits! - Honda OBD2A and OBD2B!

Yes folks, like the big bold letters say, we also have now the OBD2A and B versions covered as well!

No more OBD2 to OBD1 conversions! Run your OBD2 cars leaving your OBD2 ECU in place and just control what you need with the Haltech!

Works on ALL HONDA OBD2A AND B models from 1996-2000 that use this type of connector.

Of course, the OBD1 styled patch connector fits ALL HONDAS AND ACURAS from 92-96 that use it.

And hopefully, coming soon, Honda K Series engines, OBD2 from 2001 and UP, for Civics, RSX, TSX, etc., stay tuned!

Mazda RX-8
Lexus IS300 00-02
Lexus IS200 (Europe and Latin America w/ 1G-GE 2.0L motor)

Maxx Mazda

Protege?

Postby Maxx Mazda » Wed Aug 29, 2007 9:57 am

I have a 2002 Protege (323 Astina or Sport 20 down under) but it's OBD2, and I believe the non north american 02's were still OBD1. Just wanted to confirm that the 323 harness is in fact OBD1 only.

Claudio...

where are you sourcing the ecu connectors ?

Or how much would a 93-98 4 plug style Subaru connector cost ?
Not after a patch loom, but looking to make a harness to adapt another brand of ecu to a Subaru, just for a trial.

Although a patch loom with some wires attached might be even handier for me....saves me joining the wires on !!

Cheers, Stevie

The 323 i did recently is probably an obd2 car, even though the ECU connector is obd1 "styled", i called it obd1 styled cause it was the most popular used connector in the early/mid 90's when cars were still obd1, but it could be found on an obd2 car still. I think an example of that is the Mitsubishi 3000GT/GTO, in 96-97 i believe the car was obd2.

Steve,
I have 2 suppliers for these jumper harnesses, i have tried to track down a supplier for the main and harness connectors, Tyco is the most well known right now, but they ask for too many minimum quantities, so that is a problem.

You could use this jumper harness to use a Haltech on your subaru, ive done several already with great results.

I sell the "obd1 styled" for 100 + shipping.

Most vendors have that same price, maybe higher.
