Please help me to solve this Throttle pump issue

Postby jetlude » Thu Jul 07, 2016 9:14 am

Here's my prob. If instantly floor the throttle when my T/position is already at about 40% and the rpms are about 4000, I get a rich sputter for about a second. At this point my wideband would read as low as 9afr. This usually happens in first gear. I have never really spent any time trying to fix it, and would like to do so now. Otherwise my map is near perfect.

I thought I would ask you guys on the board what you think before I start adjusting.

I suspect this would be related to the Enrichment Sensitivity Map.

Here are the current settings:
T/Position %
00 10 25 50
RPM
1000 2.8 3.1 3.1 2.0
2000 3.4 3.5 3.4 2.0
3000 2.0 2.0 1.5 0.5
4000 2.0. 2.0 1.5 1.0

I'll guess my settings for 4000 rpm @ 50% throttle needs to be lowered significantly.

Please let me know what you think.

Thanks

Lower all of the numbers in the 25% and 50% columns.

If you want a better starting point for transient throttle, download ECU Manager and load the newest Sport default map to have a look. They use the same settings for Transient Throttle so the numbers can be transferred back and used as a starting point. The overall trim though is different and from memory leave it as 100 for the E11v2 where it says 0 for the Sport.

Return to “E11v2/E8”
