Just wiring in a E8 to a fuel injected VW conversion and need some help with timing input.
I originally fitted a dyna 2000 stand alone ignition system. This ignition kit has a tach signal out wire. Is it possible to use this lead for the trigger signal input into the E8 or do I need to wire the whole 4 wire trigger input into the crank sensor and get rid of the Dyna 2000?
I've tried connecting just the yellow trigger wire to the tach out and spin the engine over but I get rpm zero on the computer feed.
Any help would be great.
