E6x sputter at 4300 rpm

Postby toyroll27 » Sat Oct 01, 2016 11:36 am

Hi everyone, tying to solve a sputtering problem at about 4300 rpms on my car.
Setup:
E6x
3sgte gt30r 550cc injectors high imp
4 ls coils belive they are newest ones. Ls9
Direct fire
Constant charge
Falling spark edge
2.8 ms charge
Constant duty 30%
Multipoint setup

Runs great until about 4300 rpms then feels like timing retard hits then screams after 4600 rims to 7000 no problem. Does this weather full throttle or slowly applying out of boost. Revving in neutral has no affect. Car ran fine before, recently something new.
Had an issue with fuse blowing for injectors, but that's fixed, had wrong setting, n impedance. Now sputtering. Any ideas, advice please.
I've tried changing fuel, ignition, injector angle, coil charge time up n down, no clue where to now..
Maybe map sensor??
Tips?
Thanks all advice appreciated.

It is easy to elliminate spark. Drop the spark plug gap and see if it improves in any way.

But you cannot run constant duty with those coils. It must be Constant Charge, and will need around 3.5 to 4.0ms.
