New Build: MAP, MAF, Both?

Postby DSR-03 » Sat Oct 01, 2016 4:34 am

I am starting the build-up of the system for my project (Factory Five 818S), and I am wondering about what direction to go on sensors. Specifically, using MAF, MAP, or both.
I have a Haltech 1 Bar MAP sensor, and a donor MAF sensor (or I can replace it if that’s best). This will be a full new system, using only (some of) the sensors and on-engine wiring from the donor.
-2006 Subaru EZ30R H6, 3.0l (stock)
-Naturally Aspirated
-Elite 2500 ECU, WBC1, Flex Fuel, iQ3 Dash, etc.

Thanks for any feedback or thoughts.
