oil pressure calibration

Postby ausjd2703 » Thu Aug 31, 2017 3:20 pm

when setting up the engine protection, it would be useful to create a scatter plot of oil pressure vs temp vs rpm.

i suspect there are two option megalog viewer or cannibalizing the CSV file in excel.

has anyone done the later? (its free vs megalog).
im planning to log the three parameters from cold to about 90'c oil temp but am unsure how to get the plot out of excel due to the parameters not being logged in units. ie my oil temp max is 4731 and min 2731. is this referring to volts? if so thats a challenge as temp sensors arnt linear.

thoughts?

You can do it in datalog viewer.

After opening the CSV file, on the left hand side right click on the file name and you will see the option.

They did..

what other features are often overlooked?

i see that math Chanel, apart from fuel pressure (pressure differential) are there any other math channels of use?
