Anyone logging fuel pressure?

Postby BeneGizer » Thu Jul 12, 2018 8:27 pm

In theory the fuel pressure regulator (if it is a 1:1 type) should raise the fuel pressure by the amount of boost pressure. Correct?
But what does it look like in a logfile?
Anyone has a file or a screenshot of it?

thanks,
Benne

Its your base fuel pressure (Whatever you set the reg to with the vac line off) + your MAP

Idle might be -10.5psi.. Base fuel pressure let's say 50psi. = 39.5psi Fuel pressure
slight load 0 Psi Base fuel pressure 50psi = 50psi Fuel pressure.
Full load 20psi Base fuel pressure 50psi = 70Psi Fuel pressure.

It probably wouldn't be overly smooth due to the injector pulsations, pump design etc.

This is what it looks like in my logs.
Base pressure is 330kpa.
When 130kpa boost is added, fuel pressure should be around 460kpa, but its only around 350kpa...

Already tried out another pump and another fpr.
