dual table boost cut

Postby baselkwt » Sun Jul 14, 2013 11:54 pm

most cars I work on I set the dual tables up for pump gas and race gas. it would be nice if the boost cut can change when I switch to pump gas.

right now I have to set my boost cut to over my racegas boost. So I end up not really having a boost cut on pump gas i.e. when it really matters.

Having this for flex fuel too would make sense.

Select an axis for the boost cut and it can be done however you need.

in the plugin pro ecus you can, but there is no boost cut table on the platinum sport. not that i remember anyway.

I know you guys are busy with the elite and all, BUT if it is possible to implement it for the sport series it would be great if you could add it to your 'to do' list.

also, I was wondering, since your VE model considers Intake air temp when calculating fuel, would it be possible, or does it even sound like a good idea to you to have ,instead of trimming the actual fuel table for the the FUEL-air temp correction (and maybe even coolant correction) have those tables trim the target AFR value directly.
so that the O2 control doesnt fight with either of the temperature fueling corrections...and then the fueling is calculated from values in the AFR-Target table anyway, so everyone wins right?

How does that sound to you Matt?

Re: Boost Cut Vs Fuel Composition

Hey Guys.. Wondering if this is in the pipeline ?

Many cars going around with Flex Fuel sensors but not controlling boost via the haltech.. using an eboost for example.

Need a boost cut vs fuel composition...... if you fill up with pump fuel and forget to drop the boost setting this will prompt you.
