Momentary button support

Postby Drwaffles » Wed Oct 17, 2018 11:06 pm

I have a suspicion this will be added when cruise control is finally sorted, but figured I'd ask anyway.
.
Input type option for a momentary button would be amazing! And necessary almost for steering wheel buttons.

I'd love for the Haltech to recognize a button press and toggle a mode as if it were a switch.
I know you'd be worried about people forgetting it was active, but.. maybe if you had an adjustable activation time threshold?
So a button hold of 2000ms, 3000ms, 5000ms would be required to change mode?
And/Or an option to trigger a generic output (Say CEL or a LED) showing mode toggle is active.

Keep up the great work guys!

Hey, now that cruise control has been added (Kudos btw, that'll make a lot of people very happy.)
What's the chance of adding momentary button support to generic input channels? (With the time function)

Already on the list. Just a long list to get to it.

You guys are legends, seriously..
I know some of the guys on here give Haltech shit, but I couldn't be happier with the support and product. People usually only say something when they're complaining, so I make a point to address the good things too.
