CAN Logger

Postby LMS_689 » Fri May 14, 2010 4:40 am

How about a logger module that can be plugged into the CAN port? Would function similar to the laptop logger without the bulk. Basically something with a lot more memory than the onboard logger and able to capture all channels, or at least a lot more, than the onboard logger. Removable SD card or similar would be a nice touch.

Ive heard of guys using these Arduino things for talking to ecu's, maybe one could be made to read/log via CAN ?

But such an add on would be a great thing, especially when on-board logging is poor. And even better if GPS and accelerometer data could be logged too.
