s14 sr20det boost solenoid problem

Postby 50sentra » Sun Aug 04, 2013 10:36 pm

Hello Everyone,

I am attempting to install a haltech boost solenoid on my s14 sr20det. I use a AIM mxl dash.

I have wired the boost solenoid to pin number 23 on the 32 pin connector (orange and black) wastegate solenoid as per nissan/haltech instruction. haltech PWM output # 3

am I missing something? My aim dash will not display any value for boost and nothing in my dianostic window in the Haltech ecu manager!

any help would be great!

thanks

Adam

You posted in the wrong section, probably why nobody has answered. But anyway...

Did you connect the other wire to 12V+ or to Ground? Did you configure DPO3 (Pin23) as Boost Control?
The ECU Manager software is fully user configurable, so you will just need to open a channel to watch the parameters you require for boost control.

Hey Matthew,

sorry for posting in the wrong section. I seen now!

as for the solenoid. I wired it too 12+ and pin 23 on the ecu.

I configured in the ecu manager to dpo3 as boost controller.

I was wondering if there is a pwm output menu. I have to select the pwm#3 to wastegate solinoid or somthing. Is there a option window for this?

thanks

If you have set the DPO3 as Boost Control then it should be working now. A new tab will appear for Boost Control where you can change settings, and there will also be new tables available to adjust.
