Cranking Fuel compensation with E85

Postby Flat_Rate » Mon Dec 01, 2014 4:15 am

I have a flex fuel setup on my PRO PP ecu RB26 engine.

I can get it to start right up cold but my problem is there is no tables to compensate for tempature or ethanol content during cranking.

I tried setting up a generic fuel table but its not adding additional fuel while cranking.. I'm running almost double the the normal cranking fuel with E85 when its cold, 25 degrees here right now!

I can get it to work but i have to go into the ECU and change the cranking fuel valves when switching between fuels..

Any insight...

Change one of the axis to be fuel composition. The RPM axis would be my pick.

Then there wont be any correction based off coolant temp...

It sucks that the generic tables aren't active while cranking otherwise it would work great.. I'm sure that could be changed in a software update yeah??

Crank over CTS and Flex. Not RPM and Flex.
