DPO2 - thermofan not switching

Postby hughy85 » Sat Aug 26, 2017 3:15 pm

*PS500 ECU*

I am having trouble getting DPO2 to pull down to negative.

Have added a light on my ecu manager screen so I can see when the thermofan output is on/ off and that appears to be working fine.

However when I lower the on/ off temp's to trigger the light - which should also give -12v on DPO2 (pin 7) I get nothing.

Are there any other permissives? Does engine need to be running? Or one I get that light on the screen should I get -12v

Any other ideas what may be the issue of this ecu?

Thanks.

If the ECU says the output is on then it will be providing ground on that pin. Your relay has switched 12V+ on the other side of the trigger circuit?
