The last couple of years we have been working on putting haltech ecus on Japanese v8 motors in local drift cars. We have been able to make some good power, so far they seem to have Japanese reliability and they are more economical than going LS. So far we have done the fist gen 1uz going, then the titan vk56 (did one with a blower 500 rwhp) and now we have just wrapped up a second gen 1uz with vvti. Through the use of the vvti we made gains of 40 ftlbs of torque below 4500 rpm.
I must thank Scott at haltech for all the help on these projects. With out his help we would not have gotten these projects off the ground. Haltech support is second to none and it is nice knowing they are there to help you with your odd ball projects.
