Im doing a rally 93-96 wrx atm and have finished tuning the fuel and timing maps.
Now i have enabled antilag (switch and demand) and rotational idle (throttle plate permanently open (no switch))
So i set my rot idle at
Activating engine demand 2%
1400 end rpm
0% idle valve opening (will just use throttle plate so idle valve doesnt work that much)
Conditions box disabled
I calibrated my tps to the new 0% and 100% position and started it.
It idled fine with the usual rot idle sound i have used in previous haltechs the problem is that after a while it started doing some very loud pops (louder than the usual) on the intake and exhaust.
Im going to check sparkplugs for a possible oring leak.
I leaned the new idle area on the fuel map and retarded it too (around 1300-1400rpm almost atmo pressure)
Could it be something else? Like ecu cuts being too agressive?
Edit i just saw all my sparkplugs and they they pig rich fouled i took too long to lean the new idle zone so that is probably the reason for such loud bangs

The fouled plugs where causing the problem they where getting fouled or carbon deposits because ignition angle was too retarded because of the zero demand map.
