sample map for supra 2jzgte

Postby techghost » Tue Nov 14, 2017 4:26 pm

Hi All,
I'm in desperate need of a reference map for my supra to help troubleshoot a few issues (including hot start). If anyone here is kind enough and willing to share their map kindly email it to me (itrsalmaan@gmail.com), my objective is to compare it with my map and see what is wrong.

will appreciate any type of help here.

Thanks.

Thanks Adam, i actually was looking for a tuned motor map to double check and compare with what i'm running.

So apparently i've found an issue and i need Haltech experts guidance on it, i see that trigger type on stock map and my map is the same however number of teeth on mine is 24 instead of 60 with offset angle 10 instead of 5 in haltech stock map. i didnt change these values and knowing that trigger type is the same why there is a discrepancy?

on 24-10 my supra starts and runs fine but it has a hot start issue. what could above discrepancy cause?

attached is the screenshot highlighting difference between my map and stock map.

Those setting are greyed out and not being used. So your map is the same apart from the TDC offset.
Your TDC offset needs to be confirmed on your vehicle with a timing light.

Thanks Adam and Matthew.

I understood that grey'd out area is not-related so whatever i see as far as trigger is selected it ok and thats why my car was able to start.

Now if trigger/home has ground reference enabled or disabled (just like attached pic in highlighted are) would it effect?

It will affect your trigger and Home, It depends on the wiring of your sensors. Ground reference is required if one side of your sensor pickup is grounded to the engine. It is disabled if both sides of the reluctor sensor are wired back to the ECU respective Trigger or home + and - locations.
Your probably better off uploading your map or emailing or calling our sales team directly and they will be able to talk you through any issues your having with tuning.

If timing does not line up on 5 or 365 (depending on which cam sensor is used) then you perhaps have the polarity backwards.

The way to move forward is to be with the car, laptop online with the ECU and on the internet, and then call us.
