Acceptable idle/AFR fluctuation

Postby Arcenik » Tue Dec 12, 2017 6:51 pm

What would you consider a acceptable idle/AFR range

I got my idle what I think is steady I get about +/- 20 RPM, this change is so fast you can't even feel it fluctuate.

My AFR I have about +/- .3 it will fluctuate from 14.4 to 15 slowly holding steady at 14.7 for a few seconds then fluctuating then holding.

I was hoping that at idle I could get the AFR's to sit at a rock steady 14.7 but not sure if it possible.
I think the idle if fine.

Would you accept this or keep tuning it.

Keep tuning. It should be stable if everything is stable. Maybe 14.7 is not the best AFR, you can experiment with changing this.

Found the issue I am running in the non linear zone on my ID750's.

Any update on when Low pulse width compensation map will be added to the elite series?

you can already do it by using a generic fuel correction, the info is already on the injector dynamics website

You cant do it correctly yet as we do not give you a calculated fuel output minus the dead time. Generic will get you close but the true table is due very soon.
