Hey guys, I am having an issue with my Elite 2500 on my 2006 Mitsubishi Evo. We are running our oem abs unit as a standalone system as this is a race car and retains none of the factory wiring.
We have tried to wire in the ABS sensors as SPI's on the ecu, and they log for a short time and then drop out like the channel is no longer working in the ecu. We are using the SPI wires that are provided with the fly harness, and everything connection wise seems to be in order.
Anyone else experienced this problem? Do I need to have the ecu repaired?
We are running a total-loss 16.8v battery system, and I was wondering if the increased voltage was causing more amp draw on these channels than they could handle.
