Hi
I have an elite 2500 ecu
I’m trying to get a Bosch 70mm throttle body to work (from a vz commodore)
The issu is when finding the limits during calibration the throttle body moves roughly 5-10 degrees. But the ecu is recording tps values fluctuating between 30% and 100%
Not matching what the tb is actually doing
The software will not go past the regression.
I have checked 5v contamination with earth, tried removing all other signal ground connections.
Checked 5v supply.
Triple checked wiring for both tps
Had someone else check the wiring
And tried three two other throttle body’s
I have emailed Haltech, but got no response yet so I thought I’d see if anyone else has overcome this problem before I give up and go back to a cable throttle..
All wiring is done as per Haltech a suggested pins
Thanks
Dbw calibration problem
Re: Dbw calibration problem
Silly question, but have to tried a spare throttle body to confirm there's nothing wrong with the one you're using?

Yes I have tried 2 others
Re: Dbw calibration problem
I had a issue with my M3 ITB:s not opening 100% When the calibration was done.
Actual opening was more line 90%.
For me it turned out that the springs made too much resistance for the motor, I guess that the current Haltech gives out to Dbw is leas than what bmw delivers making the motor weaker.
(Completely std Dbw setup)
I solved it with removing the throttle spring from 2 of the throttles and it worked.
Maybe not the problem for you but I wanted to share info anyways.

Re: Dbw calibration problem
Did anyone figure this out?
Ive got the same throttle body and the exact same issue. Throttle body voltages jumping around. When checked with a multimeter the tps voltage is stable but the ecu shows voltages going as low as 1v and as high as 2v on the tps inputs.

Re: Dbw calibration problem
Just be sure you are only using AVI2,3,4,5 for the position sensors, but it sounds more like you have a signal wire mixed with a 5V or a ground. These throttle bodies have been used many times and should just work like any other throttle.
