S54b32 vanos pid setup

Postby Mobne_s13 » Fri Sep 21, 2018 8:19 pm

I need some help with the pid setting for the s54 dual vanos.

Mine is currently having values of
P 2000
I 1800
D 0

I got this settings from another dude but for me they are not spot on. The vanos should be really
Fast and follow target but mine often lacks after and have trobble with it.

I found the pids from maxxecu. They use values of
Like 50. But it’s a different ecu so I don’t know I you can compare.

Please help.

You always dial in PIDs to suit the application. Nobody can give you numbers that will just work.
If it is very slow to respond with values that high I would say you have solenoid issues. Most VCT mechanisms respond very well with P around 500 to 1000. I and D are usually under 100.
