Elite 2500 + RX7 (Series 6, twin turbo) PNP

Postby welshkid » Tue Oct 02, 2018 8:10 pm

Hi Everyone :D

I've got:
Haltech Elite 2500
Haltech RX7 PNP adapter

It all works well, however I'm a little paranoid about using the included basemap. My car is mostly standard apart from when it was rebuilt a few years ago, it was streetported. I wanted to double check to see if the basemap was sufficiently safe to run a street-ported engine?

TO be clear this is not for driving, just start and idle for debugging wiring and functionality prior to being shipped to a tuner for a proper map)

Secondly, I plan on running pre-mix as a "just incase" as I'm paranoid about the OMP functionality. However, is there any way to test the OMP functionality, prior to starting the engine. I know it's possible on the adaptronic PNP but not sure about haltech?

Many Thanks

idling on the base map will press fine. Just press Q once its warmed up and see how much the map changes. I bet not too much

Monitor the OMP Position, tell the map to go to a position, does it move there. If it does then it works. :D
