injectors upgrade

I m upgrading from 1650 cc to 2150cc ,quick question in the inj tab I filled 1650 cc and tuned the car now if I put 2150 cc in the tab will the ecu adapt to the new injectors ?im sure I will have to retune a bit the ve but will it be close?

Yes, that should get it close. You will also need to adjust the Injector dead times as well.

It will be spot on if you have the actual flow. Which you don’t if you only go with the manufacturer specification flow tested on heptane.

If you have flow values on the specific fuel being used then it’s ok.

It’s not that officially known that the mass of the fuels differ. If you run with e85 and your injector is flowed by bosch they use heptane. It’s a 12.5% difference in mass between them.

So your 2150cc injector If flowed on heptane it’s size on e85 is about 1880cc

I know this because I have a flowbench my self and flowtested injectors on specific fuels. And when I was confused about my results I found the mass values differed by the exact amount my values was different.

No one on the internet talks about this.
