Stall Saver output

Postby Mattias » Thu Mar 08, 2018 6:21 am

Hi,

Is the stall saver output active before engine is started?

I wan't to use it for the positive trigger of the starter relay to inhibit the starter button while engine is running...

Kind regards,
Mattias

Why not use a generic.

Starter Input On AND RPM less than 400 AND Brake or Clutch Input On = Start the engine.

All generics are already used so I'm trying to find a spare function instead. And the Stall Saver looks like the best option if it is active before starting the engine?

Yes it is on with the engine not running.

This is a legacy function only present due to it being in our ancient ECU models because one guy once thought it was a good idea.
Running it on the testing shows it has a firmware set 300rpm hysteresis so if you set to to 100rpm the output will stay on until you reach 400rpm and turn back on when the rpm falls below 100rpm again.
