Flex Fuel - Rich at low temps??

Postby Proformance » Sun Dec 11, 2016 6:24 pm

We are running a flex fuel sensor for the first time (Small Block Chev, NA, Sequential Injection, 8 Individual Coils)

Runs PERFECTLY on 98 ULP, E20, E30, E50, E65 etc... at the CORRECT coolant temp, HOWEVER, the engine will not run at low engine temps.

When the engine is left overnight, 20 Deg C, to 45 Deg C, getting 6-7 Lambda, and the engine coughs and stalls, cannot be driven. When the engine is warm, 80-85 deg, runs perfectly and drives fine.

Air temp and coolant temp correction are all set to zero, we had to apply -50% to the coolant temp correction fuel table, 10-50 Deg C to get the engine to even run at all.

I must have some other setting turned on that is causing the engine to run so rich?

What could we have missed??

Thanks in advance
