Re: want to compare two elite 1500 files

I would love this also! It’s hard to ask for something you don’t know of. But we often hear that argument ;) Most of the time you just think, well it's just not possible and don’t start a forum thread about it. You need to focus on the thing you really really want so you don’t become too demanding :P

Re: Closed loop boost

Im using 6mm pneumatic hoses all over. Lines are short. Longest is about 30cm. I doubt there is a flow issue. I have a really good wastegate prioritized setup so maybe this is what’s causing it? My exhausts go in a 90bend before the turbo and the wastegate is right on so the flow want to enter the w...

Dual injector boost controller

I would like to use the “dual injector” boost setup. Where you use one injector as a valve to feed the underside of the wastegate and one injector to feed the top of the wastegate. Is this something that is supported in the software? How to set it up? This would be pretty similar to the Mac 4valve b...

Re: injector duty max

Your engine should rev more even if its on 100%, it would just get a lean afr.

Re: Closed loop boost

Im going to try closed loop out. The help talks about start duty?? Where do i find that? Cant find it anywhere. Maybe its been remade in the new firmwares? Is there a general setup that works on most systems with the 3port mac? I know the base duty that gives perfect stable boost at 0.9bar on my eng...

if the ecu logs it there is still correction applied from something. Check it again.

Re: More advance rev limiter???

Not here to argue with you mate, just trying to say there's more than one way to skin a cat. I gave you some ideas about a rev limiter setup, perhaps try it before getting short. They don't support momentary switches at this stage, so I spent a few hours and figured out a way to make them work. Som...

Re: More advance rev limiter???

but I wouldn't suggest demanding it; that's how you get put to the back of the To-Do pile (Unless you buy like 10 ECU's a month lol) Well im not demanding anything. Im asking when it will be done if it will be done. Am I better off going over to motec or even a cheap maxxecu or should i stay with h...

Re: More advance rev limiter???

There is already both "Fuel - RPM limiter correction" And an "Ignition - RPM limiter correction" They've been there for ages, they're just a separate table it's not in the rev limit section. It's scaled against "Main RPM limiter RPM before cut" So you can pull out as m...

Re: More advance rev limiter???

He is being very demanding and is referring to cutting fuel and ignition at different times. Percentage cut control of some functionality will come in future. I'm just trying to help you develope this ecu :D Well you could say im demanding lol I also know Scott think this is a great idea so this ti...

More advance rev limiter???

Is this in the making? I was expecting this to be updated in the firmware release that came out now. But nothing has changed. When will you update the simple rev limiter to a more advance one that can combine both ignition and fuel cuts at the same time? Also user defined soft cut. I also would like...

Re: Knock Sensor Working?

Well I know you won’t make much detonation with out load. I was more curious if e85 knocks the same way petrol does and if you have any use for knock sensors with e85? I have my sensors wired but I don’t use them for anything. No one ever talks about knock with e85.. Most often you can tune it again...

E85 cold start rich running???

I have an situation i can’t explain. If I have zero cold start enrichment for the fuel I have an engine running at about 0.6-0.7 lambda. It’s running so rich it barley runs even starting at about 15-20deg Celsius. I have to remove fuel using negative values in the enrichment map. About -40 at 20c an...

This was actually to be included in the software when reading about the ecu sometime back in 2014......

Any news for a more advanced rev limiter also? Combining both ignition and fuel cuts?
