Re: MAF tuning discussion.

Always IPD and for a non-pressure referenced system this would need to be there to maintain correct fuel flow prediction. But you can just map it over MAP for the flow. Even guessing it is better than doing nothing.

Re: MAF tuning discussion.

The filter idea map work. Worth a shot. I manually do my air temp corrections, but I do use the CAT channel. In the end it is only a best guess and will always need a little tweaking, but if you are within 2% you are close enough. Current you can only control the duration with the Load Acceleration ...

Re: Wrong impedance setting, High VE numbers? Adverse effect?

Dead times have almost no effect under high load so rule this out altogether.

It should be set to High to drive High impedance injector, even when paired.

Re: Data Logger wont boot up after Windows update

Any of them will work. v1.1.1.0 was the last version created for the Platinum series but v1.1.1.1 and the new v1.2 will all work with all Platinum and Elite.

Re: MAF tuning discussion.

Go full throttle and hold it there at that RPM, usually on a dyno. Set the Max so it is a tiny amount over what you are seeing as your flow at stable full throttle. Many OEMs do it the same way, and you are pretty much seeing a spring effect on the air passing through the sensor.

Re: map referenced regulator tune offset

Use a fuel pressure sensor and map the injector flow over injector pressure differential. Any delays in FPR response are then covered.

Re: Vibration/Misfire at High RPM

Sounds like you are systematically going through everything, but you may have missed some basics. Fuel Pressure is one. Does the AFR stay constant or near to the Target? You mentioned going lean but this can be either spark or fuel. And you are certain there are no trigger errors and it stay in sync...

Re: R32 gtr platinum pro wb1 dtc

The switched source that you have chosen just happens to get power a little slower than the ECU does. The ECU powers first and is looking for the wideband which has not powered yet. It is not a problem and you can ignore it if it is working normally otherwise.

Re: Haltech Racepak IQ3 Street and Haltech Pro Plug-in Nissan 350z ECU

If you can see it in the software you can generally see it in the dash. The factory oil pressure gauge is not wired to the ECU so you cannot see this unless you have wired it in.

How many teeth inside the distributor? Photos will make it clear. This is the largest deciding factor on whether an engine is supported or not. There are no base maps for the minor engines like this just simply because cars we deal with here locally would normally would have the B16A/B18C/K20 type p...

Re: Extra Haltech box - what is it?

The E6X they can still do minor repairs on, but I think you already know the answer... if it needs repair it needs to go in the trash and look for something far more modern and usable.

Re: Extra Haltech box - what is it?

No idea either. Probably made around 20 years ago as a one-off for someone. My guess is a Reluctor Adapter that converts the distributor reluctor signal into a digital signal. Trace back the wiring and see where it goes.

Almost zero chance sorry. Low demand at our end, and would need large resources.
