Ecu: Elite 2500 I just had my car tuned at Dynosty in louisville, Kentucky. They are a Haltech dealer and have tuned many haltech cars. The tuner informed me that my O2 control would not work. It is enabled and all the settings are there but the O2 control wont take over when the car is at idle. He ...

Im running a GM 3 bar map sensor currently.. pretty simple to wire in, buy the sensor and the pigtail.. cut, solder, heat shrink, done!

Re: 2jzgte map sensor

you can use the factory map sensor, or you could simply use the onboard map sensor on the elite 2500. Both are good for the same PSI if memory serves me correct.

Also, I know with the 1jz and 2jz non vvti, you only need one cam sensor (usually the front). Not sure if thats the same with the vvti

Re: Tachometer questions

Alright. I didn't know if a tach adapter was my only option or if i could just get it to run off the ecu.

Tachometer questions

My car is a 1987 Mitsubishi Starion. The engine is a toyota 1jz from a soarer. Originally the Starion had a 4 cylinder engine which used a distributor and a single coil. The factory tachometer was wired to receive signal from the negative side of the coil. I currently have the DPO 1 wired to the fac...

Re: 1JZ will not start

So today i made progress and got the car to start. I had to switch the fuel pump active state from high to low (not sure which is correct, Using a regular 87a relay) Once i brought up the engine limiting function, it said Ignition switch was what was causing it not to start. The main relay In the St...

1JZ will not start

So i purchased the Haltech Elite 2500, wired it in. The car will not start. It has NO spark while cranking but does have spark if i go 100% throttle. Today i double checked my wiring to make sure that i had the coils, map, tps, crank and cam sensors all wired correctly and they are. Running the 2jz ...
