Re: IC7 inputs broadcast to Nexus?

Came across another thread on the Haltech forum mentioning customer service might supply their CAN protocol to folks DIY savy to build their own A/D -> CAN. If that's true, would be excellent news! Not sure if there is a newer version but here is one... https://forums.haltech.com/viewtopic.php?t=34...

Re: Does the 550 Elite fire 8 injectors?

You mean 2 per cylinder, right?

If so, Elite 950/2000/2500 for sequential, Elite 1000/1500 for semi sequential.

Re: Air cooled VW running an Elite 550

How old are we talking here? From what i know the mexico bug 1600i (ADC) had digifant ems and the distributor (P/N: BAA 905 205 C) has a build in hall sensor. No clue what trigger pattern it uses, but can either be set up in the ECU or the trigger wheel modified, sensor type is also set up in the EC...

Re: Elite 1500 4 Cyl LS1 Coils wasted spark dwell time

There should be a data sheet that came with the coils.
It can also be downloaded here: https://www.haltech.com/product/ht-0201 ... n-ignitor/ under the button "PRODUCT INFO".

Setting in the software :
Falling edge
Constant charge
Dwell time 4.5mm

Re: JZA80 N/A Tune

Is you guy a mechanic or a tuner..? Because setting up a ECU/ getting a car to start and tuning it are two differnet trades... Almost any car is tunable, but not anyone is able to... Anyway, there is no NA JZA80 specific map, however there is a map mentioned in the QSG fore the IS300 with a 2JZ-GE. ...

Re: Sensor Calibration

What car, what sensor? Do you have a part number for the sensor in question? If the sensor isn't directly supported, not all OEM sensors are, calibrations have to be put in manually. Their values and type. If you have a workshop manual yon may find the calibration data. Maybe you can cross reference...

Re: iC-7 Dash hardwire

Check the Quickstart Guide, should be in the box...
Or here: https://www.haltech.com/product/ht-0670 ... play-dash/

Usually, if you don't have any othe CAN expansion products, just the DTM4 extention into the
ECU, the extention into the adapter, then into the dash.

Re: Fitting crank trigger wheel and cam sensor

No fiat expert here but if you are talking about the Lampredi engine, there should be plenty of options... The engine was used till about 1998.., depending on what year your engine is, you may be able to retrofit the parts you need. Post some more infos maybe even pics, the more info the better... :...

Re: Cruise control switch

Yes, i did. Even cracked the switch open to look at it. No logic circuit in it, just a small pcb... The factory cruise control is not intergrated into the engine control unit, it is seperate. Kinda like a standalone CC, it just keeps the thottle open via a second throttle cable... The feed gets redi...
