Re: K24 iVTEC and VTC wiring on the Haltech Elite 1500

load up one of the base maps for honda civic or dc5 that come with the esp software and see how they setup those bits
download the manual for the wiring loom adapter for the dc5 / ep3 so you can see what wiring gets used for the pins for these features

Re: Windows 10

yes - i use a $50 windows 8.1 tablet as my digital dashboard and i use a windows 10 laptop for the main tuning device.
both run the haltech esp software perfectly (the tablet a lot slower - but it still runs ok)

Re: Leaning out when reached operating temperature

just quickly : - it sounds like your ve map is wildly incorrect - tuning should be done when at stable and normal operating temps, you should retune the ve map when its at stable temps to get a good base map. No point in doing any tuning to the ve map before then as when the car is up to temp, any t...

Re: Elite 1500, feedback, input and advise needed.

Please keep posting - this is all good stuff :) Congrats on start and idle stuff - maybe you can trawl through some similar engines from the default maps and lift out some settings / ideas on how to setup some features your fiddling with - altho at a guess - youve done this from the sorts of stuff y...

is there any way to limit maximum injector pulsewidth?

As the subject says - is there any way to limit the maximum injector pulsewidth at each rpm in a table at all?
I cant see this in the docs or in the ecu settings - is there some way of configuring it at all?

Re: Haltech knock sensor signal looks wrong in datalog - anyone know what the sample rate the ecu uses is?

Checked with the Haltech phone support and got this back " After checking with our firmware engineers, what you are seeing in the knock signal data is correct. The ECU will ‘hold’ the last peak recorded knock signal value for a period of 500ms in order to make logging and analysis of this chann...

Haltech knock sensor signal looks wrong in datalog - anyone know what the sample rate the ecu uses is?

knock signal.jpg knock signal 2.jpg Heya - does this look correct for a log of the knock sensor signal at 100hz from the internal datalogger on an e2500 ecu? Or does it look like a faulty sensor? its given a stepped log since i installed it from day 1 and from youtube vids it sorta looks like i sho...

Re: which ECU is right for a 4 CYL motorbike ?

if that second set of injectors sits above the intake trumpets and spray straight down into them - dont ditch them - they make good top end power - if you go port injection only you could lose a handful of noticeable horsepowers and if you ditch the port injectors and just use the top set - you'll g...

Re: is there an internal datalogging channel for percentage difference between actual and target o2?

Heya Jim, Its running aftermarket injectors (1000cc "xspurt" brand ones - which are a matched set of dynamically flowed injectors that seem to be bosch based ones) that were supplied with injector data for deadtime and flow against fuel pressure - anything more than that I'm not able to te...

Re: is there an internal datalogging channel for percentage difference between actual and target o2?

half the reason that i turned off the o2 feedback from most of the map is that it wasnt reacting and tracking the target correctly - ltft is disabled Does anyone know a good resource on properly setting up the PID settings on the o2 control? if it behaved better and returned the o2 to the target fas...

is there an internal datalogging channel for percentage difference between actual and target o2?

Hi there, Just wondering if there is any channel we can log using the internal logging that shows a percentage difference required to make the actual o2 reading match the target o2? there is the stft - but that doesnt show anything if you dont have o2feedback enabled for that part of the map I dont ...

Re: Mazda Protege Alternator Issue

Try and datalog your battery voltage, alternator duty cycle, electrical load signal and the analog input that the electrical load signal is on (advice i got from Haltech support that saved my sanity) With these channels logged you should be able to see what is going on and what you need to change to...
