Re: Knock detection spectrogram

I realized what was wrong. I accidentally set this thing (I suppose this is a kind of cut-off filter for signal level). So I've seen nothing on the spectrogram except a couple of green bars when the signal was passing set level.

Knock detection spectrogram

I'm curious about sampling frequency in the knock detection spectrogram? Is it sampled by ECU's CPU or by computer's CPU which runs ESP software? I've seen several videos and samples about using knock detection and they have a pretty smooth and solid spectrogram picture. Mine looks like very sparse ...

Re: Weird AVI voltage from wideband 02 sensor

It’s always about lost continuity. DTM connector between AEM and Haltech had poor contact in the ground wire. I wrote start post longer then I realised what was wrong

Weird AVI voltage from wideband 02 sensor

Brief prehistory: I set the Elite 1500 a month ago in my car with made by myself PnP adapter harness and with an attached AEM wideband 02 sensor. Everything was working very well except too noisy Toyota's knock sensor. I bought Bosch flat knock sensor and decided to install it. Being that the stock ...

TDC Offset Angle range

I'm in the tuning of my 3S-GTE now and I'm curious about the the TDC Offset Angle parameter. When I set offset angle at the first start I used reference 365 degrees from here https://support.haltech.com/portal/en/kb/articles/3sg-engine. The engine was successfully starting and idling, lock mode at 1...

Re: Basic power connections for MKIV Supra to Elite 2500

My 2 cents. The ignition power line (activated by the switch) is IGSW. So, IGSW pin should be routed to the Haltech A13 pin. Then, you should activate Toyota's Main EFI relay, so M-REL pin should be routed to the Haltech A25 pin and you must enable ECR option in the settings. After that, the power l...

Re: AMP connector pins

For wanderers from the future :)
It didn't work for me. I've tried to disassemble the connector but no luck. Eventually, I simply formed every pin with pliers (to fix flaws after crimper) and used a pin removal kit to push every pin through a hole.
Works like a charm. :D

Re: AMP connector pins

If you do not need the water seal, the connector can be disassembled and remove the rubber seal to give more room for the wire. The pin could be removed also then. Examine it close and figure out how to take apart. I did once but do not have step by step instruction. It would definitely help. Thank...

AMP connector pins

Hello everyone! Not sure is this a proper forum to ask my question, but I'm making PnP adapter for my Elite 1500, so I going on :) I made an adapter and used soft AWG20 wire with a silicone rubber isolation. It looks reliable but I stuck in trying to pin pins in the AMP connector. Holes are too tigh...
