Re: Transient enrich issue with Elite 2000 on FD RX7
Find out the Transient Throttle Load Derivative that starts giving you a lean condition. Do this by adding a number display boxes showing the Transient Throttle Load Derivative and the Transient Throttle Load Derivative Max. Use the Load Derivative to set the Dead Band. Yours a 38 if quite high. Som...

Re: Elite 1500 K20 Dead Times
If you have Excel for spreadsheets, create a list from the data you receive and do a curve fit. Use the curve algorithm created to calculate the missing values for the ECU table. Otherwise reduce the table to only those values provided from the test and let the Elite interpolate between the values. ...

Re: Possible faulty elite 1000 ecu?
Maybe pull the relays and check the circuits per the fuse box diagram for continuity. There could be a wiring mistake. I found a wiring error long ago on a different model ECU/harness.

Re: Possible faulty elite 1000 ecu?
Are you referring to probing the harness side of the connector? If so, then yes, refer to the fuse box diagram. When nothing is connected to the pin it will read the supply voltage to the relay. ECU A24 grounds the fuel pump relay to power the fuel pump and in the case of no rpm, it times out after ...

Re: Possible faulty elite 1000 ecu?
I think you meant to say ground pins A10/A11 to battery, not B10/B11. The attached fuse box schematic may help. +12V to A13 to the ECU sends +12v out pin A25 to the harness ECU relay coil to close the relay. Battery +12v to the ECU relay pin 30 with the relay closed will direct+12V out of the relay ...

Missing tooth can be at any angle relative to TDC except an engine position between TDC and maximum ignition advance (generally 45 deg BTDC and TDC).

Re: Dave's Wideback hack / CAN Ground
One of the comments said that after breaking out the ground only, the ECU had a buzzing sound. So the person commenting separated the power also and the buzzing stopped. I am using the adapter harness for the CAN and it gets it's power from the injector power.with no issues operating.

Not experienced with this engine, but the cam sensor (Home) % of travel is erratic. It should be stable. Review the Help on Home percent of travel for more info.

Re: IDLE CONTROL ISSUES
If the throttle stop has changed, the TPS needs recalibrating so TPS reads zero. Idle needs may not be turning on. There also is a throttle follower feature you might look into.

A PD16 can be selected and used with an Elite 2500 and Nexus software. i have one set up. I don't know if one of the software/firmware updates added it.

Re: coolant temp corrections vs o2 control
Sorry wrong term, my bad memory. It's Derivative Gain Fuel Tuning >O2 Control. At 70C coolant temperature, my Post Start ends at 3 seconds run time (at 40C it ends at 40 sec, no coolant correction). I do not allow Long term trim below 75C coolant temperature. The short term correction maintains corr...
