Is the MXL Dash compatible with the E6X ecu?

No, E8 and E11v2 only. However it can be used as a standalone.

It wont loose anything, you can install it with its own set of sensors or read off what you got. You would be able to use ALL its features.

It just wont interface with the Haltech.
