ECU Return for Repair Procedure

ECU Repairs
All repairs and modifications are conducted at our Offices

Please Ensure that you save a copy of your Configuration map as no responsibility will be taken for deleted configuration maps.
Please remove or supply password if MAP is protected as MAPs will be deleted and a default MAP will be loaded into all ECU’s received with a password protected MAP if password is not supplied.

All ECU returns must be accompanied by a Haltech Return Information Form.
Any Haltech product received without this form fully completed and signed, will NOT be inspected and will be returned to the customer at their expense.
Please ensure a detailed description of the fault is noted on the form for a quick turnaround time, as ECU’s received without a detailed fault description will not be looked at until one is provided, Haltech will not be responsible for obtaining this information from the customer.


Please note: We will only repair / test the following discontinued ECU’s

  • E6X
  • F10X
  • E6GMX
  • E8
  • E11v2
  • Pro Harness Series

Discontinued ECU’s sent to Haltech which are not listed above will be returned to the customer at their expense.
Please download the Return Information Form from our website which corresponds to your closest Office and include it with your ECU.

We prefer repairs from overseas to be sent to us via Federal Express (FEDEX).

Please state the reason for shipping, as ‘RETURNED TO MANUFACTURER FOR REPAIR’

Para nuestros clientes habla hispana, aqui les indico las instrucciones para el envio de unidades a reparacion.

"Al enviar una computadora a Haltech para reparacion, por favor asegurese de llenar el formulario para reparaciones e incluirlo en el paquete con la computadora. El formulario de reparacion puede ser descargado AQUI. Esto garantizara que su computadora sea reparada prontamente y devuelta lo mas pronto posible, gracias por su cooperacion y continuo soporte."

Asi que ya saben amigos, cuando tengan que enviar una computadora a reparar a la oficina Haltech llenen este formulario y lo envian junto con la computadora, tambien tomen nota del numero de serie de la misma y tengalo a mano para asi poderla rastrear con facilidad. Tambien siempre recuerde indicarle al servicio de paqueteria o envio que utilice que el "EQUIPO VA DE RETORNO AL FABRICANTE PARA REPARACION", tambien les recuerdo de que por favor llenen toda la informacion en ingles para evitar confusiones, y por ultimo no olviden de llenar TODOS los punto del formulario para asi tener constancia correcta de la procedencia de la unidad y como contactarles luego de que este lista.
