Hi Guys
I got a wideband O2 controller recently and it can output 0-1V or 0-5V to My Haltech E6X.
Now I just send the O2 signal 0-1V to E6X by O2 wire (Grey shielded cable) and It's running well.
In order to get more resolution in AFR, It's better to set the O2 signal to 0-5V.
But my Spare A/D and Trim are used for other purpose.
I know Halwin can choose O2 sensor type to 0-5V in setting page, but I just want to make sure something below
(1) Does E6X has the ability to get 0-5V voltage in O2 signal? ( I don't want to damage my E6X.....)
(2) In the closed loop control setting, is it also available to set 0-5000mV target voltage?
Thank you.

Re: Question about input 0-5V O2 signal in E6X
The Trim or Spare A/D are the only place to bring in the wideband. It will be set as UEGO. In your closed loop setup you will set the same, as UEGO and 0-5V for the input. The O2 stoic voltage will be the target.
As you can see this is a very old ECU design and was never originally intended to support wideband inputs. It was added for the very few people who used to run a wideband O2 system but mainly for logging and not really designed for proper closed loop control. The Platinum range introduced the target table and being able to deal in AFR numbers together with direct CAN input.

Re: Question about input 0-5V O2 signal in E6X
Hi Matthew
Thanks for your kindly reply.
My Spare A/D used for Aux Rev limit, and Trim used for Knock signal input, so the O2 wire is the only way I can use.
I do not need the AFR table closed loop control function, I just need closed loop the AFR to 14.7 when I cruise.
SO in this case, I can set my O2 type to UEGO and 0-5V input to O2 wire.
Will I read the 0-5V in O2 voltage and also can set the closed loop target to 2500mV?

Re: Question about input 0-5V O2 signal in E6X
I was able to get my PLX wideband controller talking with the E6X with the O2 sensor. The controller gives 0V at 10AFR and 5V at 20AFR.
The sensor setup I used:
Voltage: 0V - 5V
Sensor Type: Reverse Polarity
