e6x with holley 565-306 sniper

I have a 1997 landrover discovery se v8 auto with an eaton supercharger all running through a haltech E6X engine management system.
The distributor is faulty and needs replacement and is a lucas35dm8 and I need to know can I use aholley sniper 565-306 as the replacement.
Autoparts Warehouse has advised me the 565-306 holley is suitable for the landrover v8 but will it function correctly under the control of
the haltech system.
